I have pictures from our wonderful thunderstorm this afternoon. It was intense. I knew it was coming, but it had been stalled out over Teller county for an hour and a half. I figured because of that, it would eventually weaken and dissipate. Nope! The storm decided to move towards us finally. My step dad is visiting, so me and him got in the car and drove down the road to check the storm out. I had a very uneasy feeling about it. I decided to turn around and when I did, the wind got a little worse. Not even 2 minutes after we got back, it was like the bottom fell out of the storm and it was hell. The wind was INSANE, there was a 80 mph wind gust reported, which doesn't shock me. I decided to have us hang out in the basement in case it got worse or something else developed. We spent 20 minutes in the basement, and the storm did get worse.
The hail core was extremely intense. All we could hear was tink, tink, tink from the hail hitting everything. As soon as we came back upstairs, the yards were covered and there was a riving going through our yard to the road. We looked out Braden's room and we also saw another "river" rolling along side the flooded road.

A Day Like This
A lot has happened since my last entry. We were in Georgia, visiting family. We found out someone had broken into our house and that the back door was unlocked. I find that weird because the door was locked when we left. We reported that our spare key was missing once we got back. Whoever it was stole some of my make up and Braden's Popsicle in the freezer. We did learn it wasn't a teenager, but some little kid. Ugh.
And yesterday, I took a pregnancy test. Aunt Flow has been MIA this month, but I figured my body was just going back to having a long cycle again and again, my body failed me. Well, the test turned out positive! I took another this morning and also, it was positive! So looks like I'm 5 weeks pregnant again today. I'm going to do my best to have a positive attitude about it and be upbeat! Deep down, I am still nervous about the fact I miscarried in May. So, we'll see I guess. No more caffeine from this point on. I had planned to lose weight while Brendon was deployed, but you see how that could be a problem now. =)
